The Archipelago Trail is with it's 220 km one of Denmark's longest hiking trails that encircles the archipelago. The Archipelago Trail has a varied terrain through a unique cultural landscape with beautiful natural areas, farm houses, villages and market towns that are influenced by the area's fascinating cultural history. There are views overlooking the archipelago that contains the small island communities and is an internationally recognized bird area.

With only 4 km to Lundeborg, there is no excuse for not enjoying a fresh morning dip. Lundeborg is a small cozy harbor with lovely sandy beaches and a really good icecream stall. There are several restaurants, including "Pakhusgårdens Brasserie". It is possible to walk via The Archipelago Trail to Lundeborg on a route of approximately 8 km.

There are great opportunites to fish close to Broholm Castle. Our guides can arrange tours in many different variations: for the beginners and the practiced. Much of the year, sea trout and flatfish are fished from the many coasts of Funen, and close to the Harbor in Svendborg there are mackerel and hornfish in addition in the summer. It is also an option by pre-order to fish for pikes in the moat and lake around Broholm Castle.

Day hunts
Day hunting is offered for up to 12 people at the castle lake around Broholm and at "Lillesøen".

At 09.00 AM Meeting place at reception/courtyard. Breakfast and introduction to hunting camps at Broholm

Short hike to another location and hunting at "Lillesøen"
At approx. 01.00 PM Parade in the courtyard

Broholm is responsible for clappers and dog people. Expected shooting up to 100 ducks.

Denmark's largest block is Damestenen, located between Hesselager and Vormark on East Funen about 8 minutes by car from Broholm Castle. The stone measures 46 m in circumference, has a visible height of 10 meters and weighs close to a 1000 ton.

Egeskov Castle is located in Kværndrup only 18 minutes by car from Broholm Castle. Here, activities and exhibitions are enough to make an entire day go by.
